From the estimates made by the mechanics it is appreciated that if the car went on the highway, the PCV valve resists 150,000 km, but if the car was performed at a short distance or with cobbled roads, it produces about 50,000 km.
In the case of cars that travel on short roads, the explanation is clear: the oil does not have time to reach a temperature to which the humidity can evaporate, which leads to a faster oxidation of the valve and automatically to block it. 1.2 Where is the PCV valve located?
The positioning of the PCV valve is different depending on the car. Usually, however, it is incorporated into the internal combustion engine valve lid, but can be positioned in a more hidden and difficult access.

3.1 Why are some PCV valves heated?
In the PCV valve and in the tube the condensate is tightened. When temperatures are low, it can freeze, blocking the entire process. In this situation, the pressure within the envelope will increase.
